Pufendorf Lecture Four. Nicholas Humphrey launches a broadside against religious indoctrination, in a lecture that set the stage for Richard Dawkins' attack on religion as "child abuse". This is an illustrated version of the original 1997 Oxford Amnesty Lecture (delivered as one of the Pufendorf Prize Lectures at the University of Lund, 2011).
This is a long one... over an hour, but I view as a good subject to ponder.
