Smartphone Use Hurts Language Development
This article comes from Korea, but it is not particular to them. Observations here and reading the kind of things coming from this country tells me this is a universal problem, and one I don't think the creators of this piece of technology ever considered. It doesn't take much on your part to come to the same conclusion, and actually I don't think it comes as a surprise to anyone.
