Who's got the monkey?

This little gem comes from the Harvard Business Review from 1999, but the original actually dates back to about 1974.

It's a time management tool about the burden of subordinates to their managers, but the concepts can work both ways, and even when working with associates in other organizations or business groups.  The application is simple, and if you find yourself stressing out from things out of your control, then give this a look. It may give some hints in how to deal with your situations.

I was given this many years ago, but I am glad to find it still out there and just as appropriate now as it was then. We still find ourselves asking Who's Got The Monkey?
