The Clintons

First let me state, I really dislike politics. There are fewer things so polarizing and full of contradictions. That being said though, it's no secret that I am not very fond of Hillary Clinton.

When you look at the span of her career, the the things that she's done, and the things she has not done, it doesn't take much hard thinking to realize this is one person we don't want anywhere near the White House.
I submit to you these examples. Do your own research. Judge the rest for yourself.

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.
“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
"We came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt. We had no money when we got there, and we struggled to, you know, piece together the resources for mortgages, for houses, for Chelsea’s education. You know, it was not easy."
Hillary defending the $200,000 price tag for her paid speeches (to date she's collected $105M) in order to pay for her $2.85M mansion and $1.7M home
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Bill Clinton made TWO MILLION dollars in salary while president and Hillary says they were dead broke when they left the White House. They paid no rent, paid for no food, paid for no transportation, paid for no health care, paid for almost NOTHING and they wound up broke? And this woman, who says that they couldn't live on $250,000 a year with NO expenses, wants to be president? If she can't manage her own household, how does she expect to manage the USA?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Jason Mattera intercepted Hillary Clinton while she was on her Hard Choices book tour.
Mattera then politely asked Clinton to sign a copy of her book.
When she asked who she should make it out to, he said, “To Christopher Stevens. I think you knew him.”
When she refused, he followed up with, “What difference does it make?”
Once Clinton realized she’d been duped, she returned the book and walked away.
As she fled, Mattera said, “You have more security than Chris Stevens had in Benghazi.”

THE CLINTON SAGA.....Besides Benghazi
Just a quick refresher course 'lest we forget' what has happened to many "friends" of the Clintons.

A pathologist close to the investigation reported that there was a hole in the top of Brown's skull resembling a gunshot wound. At the time of his death Brown was being investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness to cut a deal with prosecutors. The rest of the people on the plane also died. A few days later the air Traffic controller commited suicide.

Runners and Strength Training: Why Runners Shouldn’t 'Just' Run

My friend Marlene has added another good article I think is worthy of passing on. I'm a runner, but it only suppliments the other things I do to get and stay in shape. This still gives me reason to keep doing what I'm doing. Read on...

Runners and Strength Training: Why Runners Shouldn’t 'Just' Run by John Davis
John Davis is a writer, high school coach, and head of running research at RunnersConnect.net

New research suggests that runners benefit big-time from strength work
That 30-minute jog isn't the only thing you need to help you perform at peak levels. Hitting the weights or pumping out lunges might be just what you need to run faster, reports a new study from the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.

In the study, 34 recreational runners were split into two strength-training groups. After familiarizing the runners with specific workouts, one group was assigned an eight-week body-weight routine that included moves including squats, pushups, lunges, planks, and step-ups. The other group focused on heavy weight-lifting and jump training—doing moves like squats and leg press for maximal strength and box jumps and vertical leaps for explosive power. (The runners maintained their usual training regimen—about three runs per week while doing two days of strength training.)

Not surprisingly, the runners got stronger—improving their leg press by 6 percent and their vertical leap by 9 to 11 percent. But more eye opening was the upgrade to their running, with both groups seeing a 15- to 20-second per mile uptick in their maximum sustainable pace in a treadmill test. In simplest terms, they could run harder for longer.

While runners usually think weights and plyometric training are the domain of football and basketball players—big, strong athletes who need massive and powerful muscles to get the job done—coaches and sports scientists are taking more interest in the value of this kind of training, even in recreational runners.

"The benefit of weights and plyometric exercises are that they are generally more specific to the way we use our muscles during running," says Jeff Gaudette, a former professional runner and head coach at RunnersConnect.net. Body-weight and circuit exercises, on the other hand, can serve as a great foundation for beginning runners looking to try out strength training, he adds.

If you're looking to go harder for your next big race, mixing in body-weight training or traditional strength training for eight to 12 weeks beforehand might be your secret to getting faster. Add one or two sessions per week, and be sure to hit on running-specific moves like body-weight squats, lunges, calf raises, and step-ups, says Gaudette.

If you're really ambitious, do weighted squats, leg presses, box jumps, and vertical leaps for maximal and explosive strength. These don't just improve top speed—they improve your ability to efficiently recruit muscle fibers, which has a direct impact on how fast you can cover a given distance. A tribute to my brother Tracy on Father's Day

My brother Tracy died five years ago, on June 11. It's hard to believe this much time has passed, because he is still with me in some way on most days.

My brother Tracy wasn't a king; he wasn't a rock star; he wasn't a leader in his chosen field. However, to those that knew him, he was all of those things. He had his flaws like we all do, but you would not find a more giving and kind person around.

He fiercely loved his girls and put their needs first. He didn't have a lot, but he gave them everything he could. He always wanted to be closer to them, but circumstances and the "system" blocked his way at every turn. This never stopped him from trying though.

He was creative and had ideas that never made it to the world that could appreciate them... and he had more common sense in his little finger than most people develop in a lifetime. He never understood the avarice and treacherous behavior in people, and as a result, found himself getting hurt by the people he most trusted. This was his greatest disappointment.

In spite of all this, he was a good dad, and I was proud to call him my brother.

This is for you, Tracy.
May you find peace in wherever your soul takes you.
We love you and miss you.
